HCMC – Local real estate developer Dojiland recently held a topping-out ceremony for the 186-meter-tall Diamond Crown Haiphong tower, the tallest building in the northern city.
The event was attended by local officials, representatives of project architecture consultants and construction firms, including the renowned Italian Mercurio Design Lab and Coteccons Construction JSC based in HCMC.
Dojiland stated that the ceremony showcased the significant efforts made by all stakeholders in adhering to an accelerated project timeline.
The firm aims to complete construction by the end of the year.
Spanning an area of 12,868 square meters in a prime location at Haiphong’s center, the project consists of two main blocks: a 45-floor tower and a U-shaped residential building with 39 floors.
Notably, the construction features the introduction of the first diagrid structural system in Vietnam, an advanced architectural framework that utilizes diagonally intersecting metal, concrete and other materials, as stated by the firm.
