HCMC – The Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV) yesterday, December 12, celebrated its 25th anniversary with the “Dutch December Dance,” a festive gathering held in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Netherlands in HCMC.

Speaking at the event, Daniël Stork, consul general of the Netherlands in HCMC, emphasized the importance of self-expression, fostering connections, and identifying potential business opportunities within the Vietnamese market.

Themed around 1990s aesthetics, the event celebrated a period of optimism and openness that saw the establishment of the DBAV in 1999 and the expansion of networking ties between Dutch and Vietnamese companies.

Wietse Mutters, chairman of the DBAV Board of Directors, encouraged members to actively support the association. He underscored their role in enhancing the DBAV’s impact in Vietnam-Netherlands relations.

“We are going to continue being this bridge between the Netherlands and Vietnam,” he added.

With over 100 member companies, the association facilitates trade and investment between the Netherlands and Vietnam.

The DBAV also provides support to Dutch companies entering the Vietnamese market, fostering relationships, and helping them navigate the local business environment.
