HCMC – The national steering committee for Covid-19 infection prevention and control has just reported eight new coronavirus patients that are all linked to four hospitals in Danang City, sending Vietnam’s total infections to 446 as of this morning, July 29.
The new patients were infected with Covid-19 from community transmission. They include seven women and one man, aged 19-68.
Of them, five female patients took care of their family members at Danang Hospital. They are tagged from the 439th to the 443rd.
The remaining three are patients of Danang Hospital for Lung Diseases, Hospital C Danang, and Danang Transport Hospital.
With these latest additions, the number of locally-transmitted cases in the country has reached 30 since last week.
To date, 369 of the 446 patients have recovered. No deaths due to Covid-19 have been reported so far.
