HCMC – The city will display fireworks for 15 minutes on April 30 to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the Reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2023).
The fireworks display will take place at two locations, near the Saigon River tunnel in Thu Duc City and the Dam Sen Park in District 11, from 21:00 to 21:15 on April 30, 2023.
On this occasion, a photo exhibition on the city’s development during the past 48 years since the reunification date is also being held from April 28 to May 6 on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, Dong Khoi Street and at the city Labor Culture House.
To celebrate the public holiday, for the first time, the office of the HCMC People’s Committee will be opened to tourists today and tomorrow.
