HCMC – Ford Vietnam has presented auto parts and brand-new vehicles to technology universities nationwide to help boost the practice and quality of teaching and learning at these facilities.

Over the past two months, Ford Vietnam has given diesel engines of the new-generation Ranger pickup truck model to the Thuy Loi University and the University of Transport and Communications in Hanoi City.

Engines and gearboxes of the Ford Territory model have been delivered to the Sao Do University and the College of Industry and Trade in Hai Duong Province, while the Hung Yen University of Technology and Education has received a new Territory car from Ford Vietnam.

The social program is aimed at improving the training quality at technical universities and vocational schools, contributing to strengthening the country’s tech workforce, said Tran Tien Duc, director of the Ford Hai Duong plant.

Employees at Ford Hai Duong have joined hands to build playgrounds for students in mountainous areas in Ha Giang Province and donate a plenty of learning equipment to them.

The “Playgrounds for Students” initiative will bring spiritual values to primary students and kindergarteners across the nation, demonstrating Ford Vietnam’s long-term commitments to building a better future for community, said a representative of Ford Vietnam.
