Hai Duong’s last three Covid-19 patients recover

HCMC – The final three Covid-19 patients undergoing treatment at Hai Duong Hospital for Tropical Diseases were declared free of the coronavirus and discharged from the hospital today, September 30.

The three residents of Hai Duong City were linked to The Gioi Bo Tuoi Restaurant at 36 Ngo Quyen Street, a coronavirus hotspot in Hai Duong Province, VietnamPlus news site reported.

Among the three recoveries, the 972nd patient tested positive for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, on August 18. He was discharged from the hospital on September 1 after testing negative for the disease four times.

However, he tested positive for Covid-19 again on September 19, so he continued to receive treatment at the Hai Duong Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

Before being released from the hospital, the three patients had tested negative for the virus several times. They will continue to remain under home quarantine for 14 days.

Up to now, the hospital has successfully treated 17 Covid-19 patients.

There are 109 people being quarantined at several concentrated facilities in Hai Duong.
