HCMC honors 50 outstanding businesses

HCMC – HCMC held a ceremony last night, April 15, to honor 50 companies with outstanding brands and products as part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of south Vietnam and the reunification of the nation.

At the ceremony, the HCMC People’s Committee presented certificates of merit and commemorative medals to outstanding enterprises representing diverse fields and industries.

This recognition serves as a foundation for the city to further support promotion, trade facilitation, and the development of key products.

Nguyen Van Duoc, chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee, said the 50 outstanding enterprises with reputable brands and key products have accompanied the city’s development over the past 50 years, generating revenues exceeding VND461 trillion and contributing more than VND10.5 trillion to the city’s budget.

The selection and recognition of these 50 brands aim to acknowledge and honor enterprises that have made great contributions to HCMC’s socio-economic development, possessing outstanding products and reputable brands in both domestic and international markets.

These enterprises are also pioneers in innovation, digital transformation, and high-tech application, helping to position the city’s business image in the context of global integration.

Below is the official list of 50 outstanding businesses recognized by HCMC:

Previously, the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade received applications from 151 entities participating in the program to select 50 outstanding enterprises with reputable brands and key products of HCMC. The applicants included 97 enterprises from the industrial sector, 51 from the service sector, and 3 from agriculture.The program is a meaningful activity marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025). It also serves to recognize and celebrate businesses with reputable brands and key products.
