HCMC leaders, residents pay homage to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong

HCMC – HCMC leaders and huge crowds of city residents have come to the Reunification Palace in the downtown to pay homage to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

A respect-paying ceremony as part of the two-day State funeral in honor of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong of the Party Central Committee began today, July 25.

The ceremony is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, July 25, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, July 26 at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi.

Simultaneous ceremonies are being held at the Reunification Hall in HCMC and at his hometown in Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City.
