HCMC – HCMC has provided more than VND60 billion and nearly 3,000 tons of essential goods to support flood recovery efforts in Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak provinces over five days. The city has also deployed hundreds of personnel to assist local communities.

From November 21 to 25, HCMC mobilized funds and emergency supplies to help affected residents, according to the city’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. On November 22-23 alone, the city allocated VND50 billion from the budget and social contributions to meet urgent needs in Khanh Hoa. Four mobile kitchens were activated, providing 24,000 meals daily for residents and rescue teams.

In addition, 10,000 family medicine kits and about 2,434 tons of essential items—including drinking water, rice, instant noodles, canned food, milk, clothing, blankets, life jackets, and baby supplies—were rapidly delivered to severely affected areas.

HCMC also sent 200 mobile police officers to Khanh Hoa to assist with cleanup and recovery, and supported emergency repairs at 23 heavily damaged schools to restore education. To address post-flood health risks, 30-50 doctors were deployed daily to provide medical care and disease prevention.

On November 25, the city extended support to Dak Lak, providing VND10 billion and 500 tons of essential goods to aid recovery efforts.
