HCMC – The HCMC Department of Tourism and the HCMC Tourism Association (HTA) will jointly organize a virtual travel promotion event from December 4 to 25 where customers can make tour bookings.
According to the organizing committee, customers should log onto the website www.visithcmc.vn to visit the HCMC Tourism Festival and buy tours and other tourism services at discounted prices.
More than 100 enterprises participating in the festival will offer 3%-25% discounts on tours and discounts of up to 50% on hotels and restaurants.
Nguyen Thi Khanh, chairwoman of HTA, said that as the travel demand is still high, companies had developed tour programs and services not only in HCMC but also in other provinces, all while ensuring Covid-19 safety.
The opening ceremony will be held at 6.30 p.m. on December 4, at the White Palace Pham Van Dong convention center in Thu Duc City. The ceremony will be streamed live on the social media pages of the Department of Tourism.
