Must read

HCMC – HEINEKEN Vietnam has donated medical equipment, including 10 Philips Trilogy EV300 ventilators and 24 Philips Efficia CM120 patient monitors, to the HCMC Hospital for Tropical Diseases, which specializes in treating severe Covid-19 patients.

“We support the Vietnamese Government’s monumental efforts to reduce and manage the severe health impacts during the country’s most complicated Covid-19 outbreak to date. We hope our contribution of 10 ventilators and 24 patient monitors will help save lives and we would like to wish all the frontline medical staff great strength throughout this challenging time,” said Alexander Koch, Managing Director of HEINEKEN Vietnam.

In addition to the contribution made by the firm, HEINEKEN Vietnam’s employees have been voluntarily aiding those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic by delivering food and essential goods to underprivileged people, donating face masks and medical supplies to frontline workers, donating blood to maintain supply and supporting virtual health consultation platforms connecting self-quarantined patients with doctors.

Last year, HEINEKEN Vietnam contributed VND12 billion and 22,000 masks to the anti-virus forces and medical workers.
