HCMC – Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) is preparing to introduce its “Central Heritage Connection” train services with two trains linking Hue and Danang, starting from March 26.
In Hue, the HD1 train is slated to depart from Hue Railway Station at 7:45 a.m., reaching Danang Station at 10:35 a.m., while the HD3 train will embark from Hue at 2:25 p.m., arriving in Danang at 5:40 p.m.
In Danang, the HD2 train will set off from Danang Station at 7:50 a.m., arriving at Hue Station by 11:05 a.m. Simultaneously, the HD4 train will traverse this route between 3:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
Featuring five fully-equipped cars with modern amenities and one car dedicated to cultural and culinary programs, the trains promise an enriching experience for passengers.
During the journey, a 10-minute stop at Lang Co station will allow passengers to capture the scenic beauty of Lang Co Bay, renowned as one of the world’s most stunning bays.
On the inaugural day, March 26, only one pair of trains, HD1 and HD4, will commence operations. Additionally, Vietnam Railways Corporation officially begins ticket sales across the entire system from March 19.
To mark the launch, the company is introducing a discount program for the opening month. Ticket prices are set at VND150,000, with monthly passes available at VND900,000 per ticket, along with discounts ranging from 10% to 50% on ticket prices for eligible passengers.
