HCMC – The Vietnam-Nha Trang Golf Festival 2024 will take place in Khanh Hoa Province from November 27 to 29, with hundreds of golfers attending.
Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa Province, announced the event at a press conference on November 6.
The festival, themed “100 Years of Vietnamese Golf,” celebrates the history of golf in Vietnam, aims for stronger tourism in Khanh Hoa Province, and contributes to the national economy.
The main event, the Vietnam Golf Festival Championship, will feature 280 golfers competing in three men’s groups and three women’s groups over two days.
In addition, the Kids Golf Talent Tournament will bring together 80 young golfers, with boys competing in U13, U15, and U18 groups and girls in U11, U13, and U18 groups.
The festival will also feature a seminar titled “Sustainable Development of the Vietnamese Golf Industry” and the “Vietnam Golf Path” Exhibition. Other activities include golf experiences for visitors and music events.
Along with promoting golf’s role in lifestyle and economic growth, the festival aims to highlight local tourism, showcasing the culture, history, and scenic beauty of the region while fostering a sense of community among sports enthusiasts.
