HCMC – The Innovation Services Center (ISC), in collaboration with Alta Software, has launched a Back-end and Front-end Programming training course at the Hau Giang Digital Technology Zone, aiming to equip students with practical, industry-ready skills.

Starting on January 4, the 12-week program bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application, enhancing cooperation between educational institutions and businesses.

The course has attracted 110 IT students from FPT Polytechnic College in Can Tho City and is partially funded by the “LVTECH Human Resources Development Program” under the Saigon Times Foundation.

Unlike traditional curricula, this hands-on training emphasizes practical knowledge. “To build trust within the tech business community, providing a sufficiently large and high-quality workforce is essential. This is a long-term, costly challenge that ISC and its partners are addressing step by step,” said Lam Nguyen Hai Long, ISC’s Senior Advisor, at the opening ceremony.

“In addition to specialized training, ISC will also conduct courses in foreign languages and soft skills to better equip young people,” he emphasized.

Dinh Thi Tuyet Trinh, HR Director of Alta Software, emphasized the course’s focus on real-life business projects. “Participants will tackle exercises derived directly from ongoing projects, enabling them to quickly adapt to their future roles,” she said.

Throughout the course, students will be required to submit progress reports and meet project deadlines, mimicking a corporate work environment. The program culminates in a final project presentation, where ISC partner companies will evaluate students’ performance and potentially extend job offers.
