Ministry dismisses talk of extended April holiday

The Ministry of Home Affairs said there is no plan to swap working days with weekends to extend the holidays for the Hung Kings’ death anniversary, Reunification Day on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1, and that the holiday schedule will follow the 2019 Labor Code.
