HCMC – The Mang Den Art Garden in Kon Tum Province will be officially opened to tourists on August 30 with the “Music Live in Mang Den” night show.
The music night will feature People’s Artist Thanh Lam, DJ Tri Minh, singers Pham Anh Khoa, Hong Hanh, Khanh Linh, Khang Ngoc and Dinh Tam, violinist Trinh Minh Hien, Meritorious Artist Duong Thuy Anh (Vietnamese two-string fiddle), MC Manh Khang, Phuong Dong Music Band, Music Composer Luu Ha An, and others.
The event, organized by the Kon Plong District, will start at 7 p.m. at the Mang Den Art Garden in Mang Den town, Kon Plong District.
The Mang Den Art Garden, the first of its kind for tourists in the Central Highlands, was designed by fashion designer Minh Hanh with her deep love for the Central Highlands.
Minh Hanh has livened up Mang Den through the unique art garden with the arrangement of natural rocks and lua wood, and folk wooden statues of the Central Highlands carved by artisans.
The Mang Den Art Garden also brings the beauty of lua wood to visitors, the typical artworks of the Central Highlands, since lua wood is the hard core that remained after the trees died, and was eroded by rain, sunlight and water.
Minh Hanh said: “The connection of the Central Highlands with the land and the sky, and the humane messages of lua wood, wooden statues, and natural rocks, is the story of human lives. The beginning of life was hardships that had to be overcome to attain an absolute balance of happiness. These are the values of the strong people of the Central Highlands in general, and of Mang Den in particular. They have been trying to build a new, rich lifestyle so that their life will be more prosperous and sustainable.”
