HCMC – The Trungnam Group put its wind power project No.5 Ninh Thuan, located in Ninh Phuoc District of Ninh Thuan Province, into commercial operation yesterday, September 21.
The VND1.6-trillion wind power project has a total capacity of 46.2MW. It comprises 11 turbines with an annual output of 136,281 MWh.
The project is connected with the national power grid and has a transformer station with a 50 MVA transformer designed and manufactured by Germany’s Siemens.
It is the fourth wind power project to be commissioned in this south-central province.
Trungnam Group is working on various energy projects in the provinces of Daklak, Gia Lai and Tra Vinh, aiming to feed an additional 10GWh of electricity to the national grid.
