No Name Tour: Live in HCMC

Must read

Following his sold-out show in 2022, 12-time Grammy Award-winner, Jack White, will make his return to Saigon at Capital Theatre on 2nd December as part of his acclaimed No Name tour.

Since its release in July, Jack’s sixth studio album, No Name, has garnered universal acclaim, with The Guardian calling it “dark, heavy, thrilling, beautiful” and Variety, “the freshest and most exciting rock and roll album to come down the pike in years”.

With a raft of hits, a stunning new album and a masterful stagecraft, Jack’s current live show is nothing short of mesmerizing. This intimate show in HCMC gives local residents the chance to witness one of the world’s finest artists at the peak of his powers.

As one of the most influential and prolific rock artists of the past 20 years, Jack has enjoyed huge commercial and critical success as a solo artist, and with his bands, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and The White Stripes, whose song ‘Seven Nation Army’ is arguably the biggest anthem of the 21st Century, reaching over a billion streams on Spotify and is now ‘the world’s most recognizable song’ according to Paste magazine.

A 12-time Grammy Award-winner and 36-time nominee, three of White’s five acclaimed solo albums have debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. His 2012 effort, Bluberbuss, earned five nods over two years, including ‘Album of the Year’, ‘Best Rock Album’, ‘Best Rock Song’, ‘Best Rock Performance’ and ‘Best Music Video’.

Aside from his recording achievements, White has forged a successful career as an entrepreneur, credited with reviving vinyl through his Third Man Records stable, which includes record stores, a vinyl-pressing plant, recording studio and live venue.

As the leading rock star of the last 20 years, White has headlined the world’s biggest festivals including Coachella, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza, regularly wowing crowds of well over 100,000 people. At the same time as topping the biggest bills in rock music, White also manages to include small intimate shows, giving fans an up close and personal experience of one of rock music’s biggest icons.

His first experience of Vietnam in 2022 saw him treat a sold-out Capital Theatre audience to a magical 2-hour long performace. Following his headline at this year’s Clockenflap Festival in Hong Kong on 1st Dec, where he will perform to 30,000 people, White will make his return to Capital Theatre in HCMC for another night of rock n roll magic before the No Name tour rolls onto Australia.

Tickets to Jack White’s Capital Theatre show on 2/12/24 are available from loudminority.asia from 30th Oct
