HCMC – Novaland Group cut a deal on July 14 with global hotel management group Accor to operate the Novotel-branded hotel at the Aqua City smart ecological residential area project in the east of HCMC.
Aqua City, which is a satellite urban project developed by Novaland Group, is set to cover an area of some 1,000 hectares of land, 70% of which will be used for green spaces, traffic infrastructure and utility systems.
Meanwhile, the Novotel hotel is scheduled to be built under the international four-star standard and have 300 rooms, expected to contribute to raising the value of the Aqua City project.
Bui Xuan Huy, general director of Novaland, said the cooperation with Accor to manage and operate the hotel at Aqua City will bring in high value for the urban residential area and convenience to residents there.
“Accor is pleased to introduce the Novotel brand to the Aqua City project. We believe that the Novotel brand will shore up the value of the project and provide residents with a special living experience,” said Patrick Basset of Accor.
Earlier, Novaland had signed strategic agreements with Accor to manage a series of Novotel, Mövenpick, MGallery and Mercure hotels with a scale of 1,500 rooms at Novaland’s tourism property complexes in Binh Thuan and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces and HCMC.
Apart from the partnership with Accor, Novaland is teaming up with numerous local and international partners, including GroupGSA, KUME Design Asia, Haeahn Architecture and TTC Energy, to develop the Aqua City project.
