Part of the majestic Hoang Lien Son mountain range, Mount Fansipan proudly stands as the tallest peak in Vietnam, earning its moniker as the “Roof of Indochina” with its summit reaching an impressive altitude of 3,143 meters.

Located about nine kilometers southwest of downtown Sapa City, this magnificent mountain captivates the hearts of adventurous tourists, particularly hiking enthusiasts.

Visitors to Mount Fansipan have the option to conquer its peak either by taking a cable car or embarking on a challenging hiking journey that takes around five days. Once atop the Roof of Indochina, one cannot miss the awe-inspiring sight of the bronze Buddha statue, standing 21.5 meters tall and cast from over 50 tons of copper.
