HCMC – Dao Nam Hai, CEO of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), has been temporarily suspended from his position as the state capital representative at the company, following a decision by the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance issued the decision on May 6, with immediate effect.
Dao Nam Hai will remain suspended from the position until competent authorities issue a final conclusion. The role has been temporarily assigned to Pham Van Thanh, chairman of Petrolimex’s board of directors.
Hai also serves as a member of the board of directors and CEO of Petrolimex, positions that fall under the authority of the company’s board. Petrolimex has not yet issued any public statement regarding the matter.
