HCMC – Le Ngoc Son, deputy CEO of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), has been promoted to the post of CEO, with effect from today, March 18, the local media reported.
Son’s tenure lasts five years, according to the decision signed by PVN’s Chairman Le Manh Hung.
Last week, the Commission for Management of State Capital at Enterprises (CMSC) decided to appoint Son as a member of the Board of Directors (BOD) of PVN with an office term of five years.
Son, born in 1972, has served as deputy CEO of PVN since 2021, responsible for the exploration, drilling, and extraction of oil and gas.
The position of CEO at PVN was held by Le Manh Hung, who was chosen as chairman of PVN, leaving the position vacant for nearly three months.
