STF presents scholarships to children of frontline doctors in HCMC

HCMC – The Saigon Times Foundation, a non-profit organization of the Saigon Times Group, has handed over scholarships to children of frontline doctors and nurses working at the HCMC Hospital for Tropical Diseases and Hung Vuong Hospital, as part of the “STF-Pham Phu Thu” scholarship program.

The foundation also provided scholarships to students of high schools, colleges and universities participating in Covid-19 infection prevention and control activities at the two hospitals.

The scholarships, worth a total of VND66 million, were presented to the recipients in August and September. 

The scholarships are expected to provide financial support and encouragement for doctors and nurses and their children, as well as voluntary students at the city’s frontline hospitals in the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.
