Though only 13 years old, Thai Minh Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company has become an active contributor to social welfare, especially in healthcare. The company has steadily expanded its charitable programs to reach disadvantaged communities, reaffirming its commitment to public health.
Supporting Healthcare for the Underserved
In April 2024, Thai Minh joined the volunteer group Following in the Doctor’s Footsteps to offer free health checkups, medication, and gifts to residents in Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province, a former wartime frontline.
Despite decades of peace, many in this region, especially in remote areas, still face economic hardships and limited access to healthcare services. On April 19, volunteer doctors provided consultations and treatments to nearly 1,000 people across Vinh Ha, Vinh Khe, and Ben Quan. The medical services focused on internal medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, and common conditions among the elderly—many linked to wartime aftereffects.
Thai Minh contributed both volunteers and supplies, helping deliver care and compassion to a historically significant yet underserved community. The company considers healthcare not just a business, but a social mission rooted in sincerity and responsibility.
This was not the first time Thai Minh had backed Following in the Doctor’s Footsteps. In 2024, the company sponsored a similar initiative in Nui Sam Ward, Chau Doc City, An Giang Province, co-organized with the local Youth Union and An Giang Customs Youth Union. The event benefited about 500 residents and included 800 gift packages worth a combined VND500 million. A team of 58 doctors from Hanoi hospitals offered consultations in various specialties including internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, ophthalmology, and dentistry.
In 2023, Thai Minh brought 400 care packages to children in Meo Vac District, Ha Giang Province. Each kit included balm, medicated oil, and skincare cream to help prevent scabies and improve hygiene.
Honoring Veterans and Policy Beneficiaries

Thai Minh regularly provides gifts to war veterans and revolutionary contributors. In July 2024, the company teamed up with the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to distribute 300 gift sets in Duong Quang Commune, Gia Lam District, Hanoi. This marked the second consecutive year of the program, designed to express gratitude through practical healthcare products, including the company’s joint-care medications.
In June 2024, Thai Minh and Hanoi Kidney Hospital offered health checkups and 211 gift sets at the Trung Liet Ward Medical Station, Dong Da District, Hanoi, in observance of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).
Broader CSR Engagement
Beyond healthcare outreach, Thai Minh is also active in other charitable efforts. For Christmas 2024, the company launched the Spring for the Borders – Tet for the Islands campaign, delivering 40 solar-powered lamps to soldiers stationed on the Spratly Islands’ DK1 platforms and other remote outposts—bringing both light and morale from the mainland.

In September 2024, Thai Minh partnered with Health & Life newspaper and the Ministry of Health to provide VND300 million in cash and 260 gift packages to flood-affected households in Chiem Hoa District and Tuyen Quang City. Families in Ban Khan Hamlet, Binh Phu Commune, each received VND2 million in cash and essential supplies. The group also delivered 150 care packages to local medical workers and supported eight healthcare centers to help restore services.
By September 18, 2024, Thai Minh and its staff had contributed over VND500 million to flood relief efforts in northern Vietnam—underscoring its commitment to community resilience.
Other initiatives in 2024 of the company included donating 50 gift sets to inpatients at Tan Trieu K Hospital in June; providing 300 care packages to disadvantaged children in Hoa Binh Commune in An Giang Province; distributing 115 health-related products to visually impaired members of the Thanh Xuan District Blind Association during Lunar New Year; and collaborating with Hanoi Medical University Hospital to supply 200 protective gift sets to residents of Muong Khuong District, Lao Cai Province.
Thai Minh Pharmaceutical has demonstrated that a young company can make a meaningful social impact. By intertwining its corporate mission with charitable action, Thai Minh continues to walk the path of healing and hope—not only through medicine but also through compassion.
