HCMC – Toll fees on Provincial Road No. 830 in the Mekong Delta province of Long An will be revised up from March 1, ranging from VND30,000 to VND175,000. This adjustment marks a rise of VND5,000 to VND10,000 compared to previous rates.
The Long An People’s Committee yesterday, February 16, approved the toll fee adjustment on the build-operation-transfer (BOT) road upgrade and expansion project, including provincial roads No.830 and No.824.
Following the adjustment, the toll collection period will be shortened from 19 years to 17.5 years.
Under the new fee structure, passenger cars with less than 12 seats, trucks weighing less than two tons, and various public transport buses will incur a toll of VND30,000.
Vehicles with 12 to 30 seats or trucks with a load capacity between two and four tons will pay VND50,000. Those with 31 seats or more, or trucks with a load capacity from four to less than 10 tons, will be charged VND60,000.
Trucks with a load capacity from 10 to less than 18 tons and container trucks carrying 20-foot containers will face a fee of VND95,000, while trucks with a load capacity of 18 tons or more and container trucks with 40-foot containers will pay VND175,000.
Provincial Road No. 830 stretches nearly 24 kilometers, connecting An Thanh Bridge to the intersection with Provincial Road No. 825, with a total investment capital of VND1,079 billion.
