UK, Vietnam entities partner to promote green and equitable mobility

HCMC – AIP Foundation, in partnership with the British Council, the University of Aberdeen and Vietnamese universities, have recently held the inaugural Green and Equitable Mobility (GEM) Conference in HCMC.

The event focused on building partnerships and capacity to advance sustainability and equity in transportation.

During the event, discussions covered topics such as gender differences in travel behavior, green mobility solutions, and diversity and inclusion in transport education.

Experts reaffirmed the need of accessible and inclusive mobility for achieving sustainable development goals, including health, education, economic growth and the environment.

The conference was co-funded by the FIA Foundation, an independent UK charity.

AIP Foundation is a nonprofit working to prevent road injuries and fatalities in low and middle-income countries, including Vietnam.
