HCMC – Uniqlo, the renowned Japanese global fashion retail brand, has celebrated the fourth year of its Vietnam operations, showcasing remarkable growth with a nearly fourfold increase in retail stores compared to its debut year in the country.
Uniqlo currently has 22 stores in four major cities and provinces, namely HCMC, Hanoi, Haiphong and Binh Duong, and an online store. Notably, over 50% of the products available in these 22 stores are made in Vietnam.
Uniqlo is actively expanding the reach of its LifeWear products manufactured in Vietnam, making them more accessible to customers across its stores.
These products encompass a wide range, including the Ultra Light Down Feather Jacket, HEATTECH Thermal Tops, and Faux Shearling Coats, all crafted in Vietnam and trusted by domestic shoppers.
Over the four years of its operation in Vietnam, Uniqlo has also engaged in collaborations with social organizations to implement various community support programs.
Most recently, Uniqlo announced a philanthropic initiative to allocate the entire revenue generated from the UTme! collection, running until the end of December 2023, to fund school construction projects for children in Mu Cang Chai, a region in northern Vietnam. The four stores participating in this charitable endeavor are Uniqlo Vincom Ba Trieu, Uniqlo Hoan Kiem, Uniqlo Dong Khoi, and Uniqlo Saigon Centre.
