HCMC – The three member carriers of the Vietnam Airlines Group are planning to make nearly 750,000 seats available, equivalent to some 4,000 domestic and international flights, to meet the rising travel demand during the upcoming holidays in April.
On the occasion of the Hung Kings’ death anniversary on the tenth day of the third lunar month (April 10), Vietnam Airlines and VASCO will operate nearly 1,400 flights with more than 266,000 seats between April 8 and 12, up 10% against the same period in 2019, before the Covid pandemic broke out. Pacific Airlines will operate around 200 flights with nearly 37,000 seats.
During the Reunification Day (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1) holidays, the Vietnam Airlines Group’s carriers — Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO — will offer around 450,000 seats from April 28 to May 4.
The group will increase the frequency of flights on the busy routes linking Hanoi and HCMC with popular destinations in Danang, Quy Nhon, Dalat, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc.
For international services, the Group will resume regular flights and launch new services linking Hanoi and HCMC with Delhi in India, and those between Singapore and Danang, Phu Quoc and Nha Trang starting from April 15.
