HCMC – Vietnam Railways Corporation has started selling online tickets for the international passenger train service between Gia Lam Station in Hanoi and Nanning, China.
Tickets can be purchased through the official website https://dsvn.vn, where passengers can select departure and arrival stations, travel dates, and train MR1. After completing payment, customers receive an electronic receipt confirming the transaction, which is not valid for boarding.
Passengers must collect their physical tickets at the station about one hour before departure. Tickets are issued within five hours before the train leaves. Travelers are required to present a valid passport with a visa and the payment receipt for verification.
From May 26 to September 30, the Gia Lam–Nanning service carried around 8,400 passengers. Chinese travelers made up 75% of the total, followed by Vietnamese passengers at 20%, and 5% from other countries.
