HCMC – Vietnamese businesses and experts will discuss the impact of U.S. tariff adjustments and explore response strategies in a live talk show on March 19, marking the launch of an event series titled “New U.S. Tariff Policies and Vietnam’s Response.”
The talk show, “Vietnamese Enterprises and Concerns Over New U.S. Tariff Policies,” hosted by Saigon Times Group in partnership with HM&P Law Firm, will bring together representatives from Vietnam’s garment and logistics sectors to assess trade policy shifts and their impact on exporters.
As the U.S. has considered adjusting tariffs on imports, particularly in Vietnam’s key export sectors, such as seafood, textiles, wood products, electronics, and agricultural goods, Vietnamese businesses are facing new challenges. Timely access to information and finding effective response strategies are crucial to ensuring sustainable growth.
The first topic, “Vietnamese Enterprises and Concerns Over New U.S. Tariff Policies,” will examine how businesses in the garment and logistics sectors are navigating the shifting U.S. tariff landscape, highlighting key challenges and strategic responses to evolving trade regulations.
The speakers will also share their expectations and suggest Government support measures to help businesses adapt effectively.
The talk show will be live-streamed on the Facebook pages of the Kinh Te Saigon Online (at https://www.facebook.com/kinhtesaigon.vn) and Saigon Tiep Thi (at https://www.facebook.com/sgtiepthi.vn) at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
