HCMC – Vietnam’s Party General Secretary and State President To Lam left Hanoi on May 5 for a three-day state visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Foreign Ministry said.
The May 5-7 trip is To Lam’s first state visit to India and coincides with the 10th anniversary of the two countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership.
During this visit to India, Lam is expected to have a packed agenda in New Delhi and Mumbai, India’s leading center for economic, financial, and science and technology development.
Leaders of both sides will exchange views and discuss strategic directions to boost cooperation and seek breakthroughs in potential areas such as science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, healthcare, clean energy, infrastructure, and the promotion of people to people, cultural, and religious exchanges.
