During the flooding season in the Mekong Delta region, the vast fields in Moc Hoa District, Long An Province, are filled with colorful water lilies. Tourists and photographers grasp the chance to capture these moments.

The impressive scenery of the water lily fields in Moc Hoa has also been voted by readers among the top seven destinations with extravagant aerial views in Vietnam’s “Top 7 Impressions program 2022” initiated by Sai Gon Tiep Thi, a publication of the Saigon Times Group.

There are cultivated and wild water lilies in the flooding season. The cultivated water lilies are big, ranging from 1.5 meters to two meters. Meanwhile, the wild water lilies are thinner but longer than the cultivated ones, from three to six meters.
