HCMC – A Ho Chi Minh Road section connecting Chu market in Thai Nguyen Province and Trung Son intersection in Tuyen Quang Province will begin construction on April 30, according to the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board.
The Ho Chi Minh Road section from Chu market to Trung Son intersection has a length of nearly 29 kilometers, starting at Chu market in Dinh Hoa District, Thai Nguyen, and ending at Trung Son intersection with National Highway 2C in Yen Son District, Tuyen Quang.
The project management board is inviting tenders for the section, scheduled to open on April 23.
The road will be developed as a third-class mountainous road, with a width of six meters, allowing a maximum speed of 60 km per hour. The total cost of the project is VND1,665 billion, which will be sourced from the State budget.
