HCMC – More than 1.2 million guests visited Dam Sen Water Park last year, increasing 8% over the previous year.
Dam Sen Water Park Corporation put its 2023 revenue at VND249 billion, 8.2% higher than its full-year target. Its profit after tax totaled nearly VND113 billion, 14.8% above the target.
This year the company looks to achieve revenue of VND240 billion and after-tax profit of VND130 billion. To reward shareholders, the firm plans to pay a 24% cash dividend in 2024, or VND2,400 for each share held.
To reach these objectives, Dam Sen Water Park Corporation plans to upgrade the park’s landscape and infrastructure while focusing on boosting communication, advertising and marketing.
Closing the trading session today, January 10, its DSN shares inched up by 0.18% to VND13,000 per share.
Losers outnumbered winners by 309 to 195 on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange. The VN-Index still edged up by 0.25%, or 2.95 points, to 1,161.54 points.
Stock trade improved by 14% in volume and 12.5% in value over the previous session, with nearly one billion shares valued at VND20.7 trillion changing hands. Block deals contributed 57 million shares and VND1.2 trillion to the overall value.
Most bank stocks attracted investors. TPB made the biggest gain as it soared by 4.2% to VND18,500 per share. SSB and TCB were the only bank stocks that lost 0.2%.
The market was primarily driven by VCB, BID, and CTG. With gains of 1.94%, 2.93%, and 3.33%, they contributed 2.4 points, 1.95 points, and 1.37 points to the VN-Index, respectively.
SHB took the lead by liquidity on the southern market, with 94.3 million shares being matched. This volume tripled that of the second most actively traded stock, HPG, which saw 30.4 million shares traded.
The Hanoi Stock Exchange saw 26 stocks advancing and 47 others declining, with a total matching volume of 88.7 million shares and a value of nearly VND1.8 trillion. The HNX-Index lost 1.09 points, or 0,47%, at 231.41 points.
