HCMC – The disbursement rate of public investment capital has reached 40.6% of the full-year plan so far this year, at a total of VND301.5 trillion.
Data from the General Statistics Office (GSO) indicated that the disbursement rate in the first seven months of the year was 2.3% higher than in the same period last year.
Public investment disbursement has accelerated by 8.2% in July against June. However, the July figure of VND57.6 trillion was still a 1.6% decrease versus July 2023.
Disbursements under central supervision have totaled around VND10 trillion in July, down by 4.9% year-on-year. Investment capital overseen by local authorities has edged down by 0.9% over the same period in 2023 to VND47.5 trillion.
From January to July, the disbursement of centrally managed funds has reached VND51.9 trillion, accounting for 44.9% of the full-year plan.
The Ministry of Transport disbursed the highest amount, at VND31.8 trillion, followed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with VND5.1 trillion.
Meanwhile, local authority-managed investment disbursement has amounted to VND249.6 trillion, making up 39.8% of the annual plan and reflecting a 3.6% year-on-year increase.
