Based on data reported by media organizations, the number of traffic accidents caused by drivers violating the drink driving ban has been decreasing sharply over the years. In 2022, there were 13,000 cases, but in 2023, the figure decreased to 814 cases. In particular, the number of traffic accidents caused by drink driving continues to decrease sharply in 2024.

In particular, the campaign named “Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You” has been organized with a series of activities for the years, such as, “Talkshow with experts”, activation week “Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You”, debate contest, video clip contest,…and achieved unexpected successes with impressive numbers: Over 20,000 signatures have been collected from people who commit “Don’t drink and drive”, while millions of students, workers, employees, and families have responded strongly across the country.
Persistently pursuing the goal of promoting smart drinking culture in Vietnam, helping beer lovers in particular and people in general realize their responsibility on each gathering, AB InBev continues its journey and mission by collaborating with Be Group, the leading technology-based ride-hailing application, to launch the smart drinking campaign named “Enjoy Beer Responsibly Because Someone Needs You” with super discount up to 50k/trip when customers enjoy beer and book bebike/becar/beCarplus/betaxi services to go home from September 13, 2024 to October 4, 2024.
In parallel with the cooperation with Be Group, AB InBev expanded its cooperation with XanhSM, a taxi booking application with all services operated by electric vehicles, offering thousands of additional super discount vouchers up to 50k for all customers when booking Xanhbike/Xanhcar/Xanhcar plus during the timing stated to strongly respond to the National Traffic Safety Month and call on customers to enjoy beer responsibly, use public transport to come home safe and sound, and “don’t drink beer and drive”.
