HCMC – French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet presented a congratulatory letter to Vietnamese weightlifter Le Van Cong today, September 23, for winning a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
The ambassador also visited the National Sports Training Center in HCMC, where he met with Vietnam’s Paralympic team. This is the fourth national sports center Brochet has visited this year.
He praised their efforts, highlighting the performance of Cong, who has clinched his third consecutive Paralympic medal in the men’s 49kg category at the Paris 2024 Games.
Brochet expressed hope for continued cooperation between France and Vietnam in sports, particularly in preparation for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
