Must read

HCMC – The Central Inspection Commission has proposed disciplinary measures against Duong Van An, secretary of Vinh Phuc Province’s Party Committee and former secretary of Binh Thuan Province’s Party Committee.

The Central Inspection Commission held its 53rd session from January 6 to 8, where it reviewed and finalized the report on the self-criticism process and proposed disciplinary measures for An.

When serving as Party secretary of Binh Thuan Province, Duong Van An violated Party regulations and state laws while carrying out his official duties, including for combating corruption, wastefulness and misconduct.

His violations of the Party’s code of conduct and failure to lead by example caused significant consequences, undermining the credibility of the Party organization and local authorities, necessitating disciplinary action.

In accordance with Party regulations, the Central Inspection Commission has advised the relevant authorities to review and take disciplinary measures against An.

During this session, the Central Inspection Commission also concluded that Nguyen Tan Tuan, chairman of the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa; Le O Pich, director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and former deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Giang Province; and Ly Vinh Quang, former deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of Lang Son Province, had violated Party regulations and state laws in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

They also violated anti-corruption, wastefulness, and misconduct regulations, as well as the Party’s code of conduct and the principle of setting an example.

Consequently, Nguyen Tan Tuan is facing a warning, while disciplinary action has been recommended for Le O Pich and Ly Vinh Quang.
