LAMORI Resort & Spa has opened just ahead of the 2025 Lunar New Year, marking a significant milestone for the region. Offering luxury amenities and high-end services, the resort also aims to preserve the historical value of the Lam Kinh relic site. The development is set to bolster Lam Kinh’s position as a leading cultural, historical, and spiritual tourism destination in Thanh Hoa Province.
Sao Mai Group celebrated the grand opening of LAMORI Resort & Spa on January 19, 2025, marking the launch of the eco-friendly resort in Quyet Lam Village, Tho Lam Commune, Tho Xuan District. This project embodies the Group’s vision to establish a five-star “spiritual and nature exploration retreat” complex in the historic ancient capital of Lam Kinh.
The resort is ideally located, just 1.5 kilometers from the Lam Kinh relic site and eight kilometers from Tho Xuan Airport. During the resort’s design and construction, Sao Mai Group has carefully preserved the natural terrain formed over thousands of years, using creative solutions to protect it while combining modern architecture with eco-friendly materials. Built on a 54-hectare site with an investment of nearly VND1,500 billion, LAMORI Resort & Spa offers a range of modern amenities. Highlights include villa complexes, a lakeside event center, a water music system, lakeside, mountain, and floating villas, an infinity pool, and wellness facilities, such as a spa, gym, and yoga area. The resort also features a lakeside restaurant complex with seating for around 700 guests, serving European, Asian, and local cuisine prepared by professional chefs.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, a representative from the Thanh Hoa Province People’s Committee emphasized that Tho Xuan boasts beautiful nature, unique culture, warm-hearted and hospitable people, and diverse, rich cuisine, especially the enduring cultural and historical values of the Lam Kinh relic site. However, it has not yet been able to keep tourists for extended stays. The inauguration of LAMORI Resort & Spa will introduce a new, attractive tourism product to the area, addressing the shortcomings of the past and opening up new opportunities for the tourism sector of Tho Xuan District and Thanh Hoa Province to thrive, with the goal of becoming a national tourism hub.
