Over the past 25 years, AIA Vietnam has been not only a pioneer in life insurance but also a steadfast companion to the Vietnamese community. Guided by its purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives, the company has consistently turned this mission into tangible action through meaningful social initiatives that put people at the heart of everything it does.
AIA Journey: Empowering children to pursue education
Launched in 2014, the “AIA Journey” program has become one of AIA Vietnam’s most recognizable community initiatives. In partnership with the National Fund for Vietnamese Children under the Ministry of Health, the Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Traffic Safety Committee, the program has given hope and opportunity to thousands of disadvantaged children across the country.
After nearly 12 years, the “AIA Journey” has donated more than 26,000 bicycles and over 700 free life insurance policies, each worth VND20 million, to help underprivileged students stay in school. When these students reach 18, the insurance maturity value becomes a meaningful source of financial support for their continued education.
Beyond material gifts, the program has raised public awareness about children’s rights, traffic safety, and environmental protection, reflecting AIA Vietnam’s long-term commitment to creating positive social impact. It is also a key part of AIA Group’s broader goal—to help 10 million Vietnamese and 1 billion Asians live healthier, longer, and happier lives by 2030.
For a Greener Planet: Building a sustainable future
In alignment with the Vietnamese Government’s call to plant one billion trees, AIA Vietnam launched the “For a Greener Planet” campaign in 2021 to protect the environment and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
To date, the company has planted nearly 27,000 trees in vital ecological areas, including the Can Gio protective forest in Ho Chi Minh City, Xuan Thuy National Park in Ninh Binh Province, and Ha Trung protective forest in Thanh Hoa Province. These efforts contribute to ecosystem restoration, carbon reduction, and the creation of sustainable green spaces.
In 2025, the campaign is being expanded with an additional 500 trees planted in the UNESCO-recognized Can Gio Biosphere Reserve. Hundreds of AIA employees and agents from across the nation are taking part, underscoring the company’s collective commitment to environmental stewardship.
This initiative forms part of AIA’s broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, emphasizing the importance of connecting people with nature and building a greener, more resilient future together.
AIA Pink Journey: Caring for women’s health

To mark its 25th anniversary, AIA Vietnam continues to promote a culture of care through the AIA Pink Journey – A Journey of Love, a program dedicated to raising awareness and providing early screening for breast cancer among Vietnamese women.
In collaboration with the Breast Cancer Network Vietnam (BCNV), the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, and local Departments of Health, the program offers free check-ups, counseling, and financial support to women—the vital pillars of families and communities.
In 2025 alone, the Pink Journey aims to provide free breast cancer screenings for at least 2,500 women, with a long-term goal of reaching 30,000 women nationwide by 2030. This initiative reflects AIA Vietnam’s belief that health empowerment begins with awareness and access to preventive care.

Standing with flood-affected communities
In the wake of severe floods that struck northern Vietnam in September and October 2025, AIA Vietnam swiftly mobilized its employees, agents, and trade union members to launch a fundraising campaign for affected communities.

Together, they raised nearly VND500 million, which was distributed to the hardest-hit areas. In Bac Ninh, AIA donated 10 computers, 2 televisions, and 63 care packages worth nearly VND170 million to local schools and families. In Thai Nguyen, the company provided 6 televisions, 200 cash grants, and additional aid for 10 particularly vulnerable households, with total support reaching VND300 million.
These timely efforts provided not only material relief but also emotional encouragement, reflecting AIA’s enduring spirit of compassion and solidarity with communities in need.
A quarter-century of purpose and progress
From bicycles that make the road to school a little shorter, to the green saplings breathing new life into forests, to free health screenings that safeguard women’s well-being—every initiative by AIA Vietnam tells a story of care, commitment, and community.
As the company marks its 25th year in Vietnam, its journey remains defined by a simple yet profound belief: a healthy society is the foundation of a sustainable future.
With unwavering dedication and a forward-looking vision, AIA Vietnam continues to affirm its position as a leading life insurer that does more than protect lives—it enriches them. Through every act of giving and every partnership for good, AIA continues to spread its timeless message: “Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.”
