Amanoi, a luxury resort set amid the untouched wilderness of Nui Chua National Park overlooking Vinh Hy Bay, has been awarded the top distinction of Three Michelin Keys, marking a new milestone for Vietnam’s high-end hospitality sector.

The announcement came during the official Michelin Key 2025 unveiling on October 8, where the Michelin Guide released its first-ever list of globally recognized hotels and resorts. The expansion marks a significant evolution for the Michelin brand, which for over a century has been known for its restaurant ratings through the famed Michelin Star system.

Amanoi is one of only two hotels in Vietnam — alongside Capella Hanoi — to receive Three Keys, the highest accolade granted to properties offering “extraordinary stays” where design, architecture, service and atmosphere achieve perfect harmony. It is also the only remote Vietnamese resort to earn the distinction.

The resort, which opened in 2013, was praised as a symbol of the local community’s craftsmanship and quiet dedication, embodying the balance between people, place and purpose that defines the Vinh Hy Bay region.

Globally, several other Aman properties — including Amanpuri in Thailand, Aman Venice in Italy, Amangiri in the United States, and Aman New York — were also awarded Three Michelin Keys, reinforcing Aman’s reputation for excellence in hospitality.
