HCMC – Noi Bai Cargo Terminal Service Joint Stock Company (HOSE: NCT) has approved an 80% cash dividend payment for fiscal 2024, meaning shareholders will receive VND8,000 for each share held.
With nearly 26.17 million shares outstanding, the total amount for this dividend payment plan will be around VND209.3 billion. The ex-dividend date is set for November 17, while the payment is expected to be made on December 15, 2025.
In 2024, NCT reported VND900 billion in revenue, up 31% year-on-year, and post-tax profit of VND266 billion, rising 23% and marking its highest profit in seven years. Despite only modest profit growth expected next year, the company plans to maintain the 80% dividend ratio for 2025.
At the close of today’s trading session, November 4, NCT shares gained 0.63%, or VND700, to end at VND111,300, with 53,900 shares changing hands, valuing the company at nearly VND2.9 trillion.
The VN-Index jumped 34.98 points, or 2.16%, to 1,651.98 points, with 189 gainers and 117 decliners. Trading volume reached nearly 1.2 billion shares worth VND34.22 trillion, up 18% in volume and 16% in value from the previous session.
Brokerage and real estate stocks led the market rally, with multiple tickers, including SSI, VIX, VND, and DIG, hitting their daily upper limits on strong liquidity.
Bank stocks also joined the uptrend, with VPB closing at its ceiling price of VND29,500 and SHB topping the market in trading volume with more than 96.4 million shares matched.
Meanwhile, the HNX-Index added 6.73 points, or 2.6%, to 265.91 points, with 84 winners and 68 losers. Total matching volume reached 131.3 million shares valued at VND2.93 trillion.
