HCMC – Quang Ninh Province is aiming to generate VND58 trillion in tourism revenue this year after surpassing its goal of 21 million visitors, driven by new tourism products, expanded nighttime activities, and large-scale events.
Nguyen Lam Nguyen, deputy director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the province is continuing to develop new tourism projects and strengthen nighttime economic activities to diversify products, extend visitor stays, and attract more domestic and international travelers.
As of mid-November 2025, Quang Ninh had welcomed 21.28 million visitors, up 12% year-on-year. Tourism revenue reached at least VND57 trillion, a 22.46% increase from the same period last year. With its visitor target achieved, the province is now pushing toward its revenue goal of VND58 trillion.
To support growth, the tourism sector has rolled out new experiences and major cultural events. Two large concerts — “Halong 2025: Heritage Spirit, Bright Future” and “Quang Ninh – Heroic Land of Coal” — attracted more than 61,000 attendees.
In the final months of the year, the province is intensifying cultural, sports, and exhibition activities, along with the Quang Ninh Culinary Festival, to boost tourist spending and promote local cultural heritage.
Quang Ninh is also preparing to restart the Beihai (China)–Halong cruise route. The service is expected to bring nine cruise ships carrying international travelers to the province during the 2025–2026 cruise season, from October 2025 to April 2026.
