HCMC – The government of Long Thanh District in Dong Nai Province today, May 5, handed over some 70 more hectares of cleared land to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam to develop the Long Thanh International Airport project.

The local media reported that the district sped up the handover of the cleared site after the government had set deadlines for the province to finish the handover.

Of the 70 hectares, 59 hectares of land belongs to the first phase of the big-ticket airport project, while the remainder is of the second phase.
