HCMC – Domestic airlines are increasing flights to and from major cities, including Danang, to accommodate passengers affected by typhoon Trami.
Today morning (October 28), Vietnam Airlines announced an additional six flights to support passengers stranded by the storm.
Earlier, the airline had added six flights between Hanoi, HCMC, and Danang shortly after the storm. According to the airline’s data, nearly 90 international and domestic flights were canceled due to the storm.
Vietjet and Bamboo Airways also announced extra flights to accommodate passengers impacted by delays and cancellations yesterday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) allowed four airports in the central region to resume operations, namely Danang, Phu Bai, Chu Lai, and Dong Hoi, starting from yesterday afternoon.
