All employees of company linked to Covid-19 patient put under quarantine

HCMC – Some 200 employees of Grove Group Corporation in HCMC’s District 3, where a Covid-19 patient who is a resident of SunView Town Apartment Building in Thu Duc City came to work, have been sent to centralized quarantine centers and had their samples taken for Covid-19 testing.

Nguyen Tri Dung, director of the HCMC Center for Disease Control (HCDC), on May 18 said they are being quarantined at several centralized quarantine centers in the city, the local media reported.

HCDC on the same day stated that among the seven people in the patient’s team, one has tested positive for Covid-19, while six others tested negative once. In addition, the testing results of 700 employees of a company where the patient’s wife works and more than 4,500 people in SunView Town Apartment Building have all come out negative.

The authorities of District 3 have locked down the building at 212 Pasteur Street, where Grove Group Corporation’s headquarters is located, until May 20.
