Must read

HCMC – On July 30, Bamboo Airways will introduce three new air routes connecting Danang City with Dalat, Can Tho and Vinh, with the carrier set to operate one daily round-trip flight on each of the three routes, to meet the rising travel demand from locals, boost domestic tourism and speed up tourism recovery in the central coast city.

The flights are scheduled to depart from Danang City at 7.30 a.m., 11.15 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. heading to Dalat, Can Tho and Vinh cities, respectively, VietnamPlus news site reported.

To celebrate the launch, Bamboo Airways will offer promotional tickets priced from VND49,000 to passengers on the Danang-Can Tho/Vinh flights and from VND99,000 to passengers on the Danang-Dalat flights.

Earlier, on July 10, the airline put into service the Danang-Phu Quoc air route with a frequency of four weekly round-trip flights.

Apart from this, the carrier reopened three air routes linking Danang City to the country’s three major cities—Hanoi, HCMC and Haiphong—to contribute to the recovery of tourism in Danang city and meet the demand during the peak summer travel season.

Bamboo Airways has resumed 100% of its domestic air routes with an average frequency of 150 daily flights.

In related news, Vietnam Airlines will launch a new air route linking Haiphong City and Dien Bien Province on July 22, making it the carrier’s eighth route to Haiphong City.

Flights are set to depart from Haiphong City at 12.05 p.m. and from Dien Bien Province at 2.00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will be operated by the Vietnam Air Service Company, a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines.

As part of the launch, the carrier is offering promotional tickets priced from only VND199,000, exclusive of taxes and fees, to passengers on flights departing from now until August 31.

Apart from the resumption of its domestic air routes, Vietnam Airlines has also expanded its air route network to 61, with some 400 daily flights.
