HCMC – Digiworld and Rikkei Academy on November 18 cut a deal to present 200 programmer scholarships worth over VND10 billion to students with disadvantaged backgrounds.
The scholarship program is set to train 200 poor but outstanding students to become skilled software engineers in the 2022-2025 period.
Digiworld and Rikkei Academy expected the scholarships to allow poor young people who love technology to study computer programming and pursue their dream of becoming computer programmers.
Recognizing education and technology as the main pillars of economic growth, Digiworld and Rikkei always pay attention to the quality of training. The scholarship program will contribute to meeting the need for highly-skilled information technology workers in the local market.
To Hong Trang, deputy general director of Digiworld, said that each of Digiworld’s social programs targets the right beneficiaries in the right period. These programmer scholarships were presented to the neediest students.
Apart from the scholarship program, Digiworld has ceaselessly implemented various social programs to lend a helping hand to disadvantaged people, including households hit by floods and storms, frontline medical workers and orphans.
