HCMC – The southern province of Dong Nai is set to auction 34 land lots valued at a combined VND20.6 trillion based on the official land price list between August and October this year.

According to the province’s land development center, 37 land lots will be auctioned this year. Auction plans have been finalized for 20 of the sites.

In the first half of 2025, authorities approved auction plans for 17 lots. However, three auctions failed to attract any bidders despite being publicly announced.

Between August and October 2025, Dong Nai Province’s land development center plans to auction 34 land plots with a combined value of around VND20.6 trillion, based on the official land pricing table.

Alongside new listings, land plots that failed to sell in earlier auctions will be put up for second or third rounds of auction.

The province has now largely resolved issues related to land valuation, which serves as the basis for setting starting prices, as well as staffing for auction-related tasks.

In the near term, local authorities will prioritize the auction of prime land plots – those with clear site clearance, favorable locations with good transport access, and proximity to Long Thanh International Airport.

Relevant agencies have proposed adjustments to the land auction plan, prioritizing large, high-value plots with strong potential to attract successful bids this year.

They have also recommended adding several land lots located in the area formerly known as Binh Phuoc Province (prior to the provincial merger) into the province’s updated land auction plan.
