Enjoying avocado ice cream in chilly weather

Considered one of the best delicacies in Dalat, avocado ice cream is a must try dish for travelers visiting the foggy city of Dalat.

Dalat not only has a charming natural landscape, but also has a climate and soil suitable for many kinds of trees, including avocado trees. Avocado, which is the key agricultural product of Dalat, is famous for its delicious taste and can be processed into many types of dishes.

Avocado ice cream combines avocado and coconut or vanilla ice cream. The avocados chosen to make the dessert should be just ripe, have a soft and fragrant flesh and an eye-catching green-yellow appearance.

The avocado flesh is finely blended into a mushy texture and some milk or sweetened condensed milk is added for its fattiness. The avocado smoothie is poured into a glass, then topped with a scoop of coconut or vanilla ice cream.

The delicious coconut ice cream must be made entirely from coconut without adding food additives to create a smooth texture. Finally, a small amount of desiccated coconut is sprinkled on the dessert.
